Estimating/Sales
Our estimating/sales department is headed by Rick Lo who works in close coordination with our General Manager, Stefan Mundt.  Our estimators are trained to do manual material take-offs and utilize state-of-the-art estimating software to provide fair pricing.

We are able to assist our customers during early stages of a potential project by providing reliable budgets and constructive advice to meet financial goals.  Once the design is confirmed, we offer fair lump sum pricing and realistic delivery schedules.  Due to our close coordination with all company departments, we ensure that sufficient resources are available to complete your project on time, every time.

For your peace of mind METAL-FAB INDUSTRIES is insured for up to $5 million. On your request, bonding is also available.

Drafting/Project Management
Project drawings must reflect an understanding of the entire job.  Craig Welcher leads an experienced and knowledgeable technical design and project management team that becomes a design partner for the duration of each project. 

In-house and out-of-house drafting teams find practical solutions to unique challenges.  METAL-FAB provides shop and erection drawings utilizing advanced design software such as Auto-Cad and Xsteel.  All drawings are reviewed by a Registered Professional Engineer, and undergo a rigorous checking process before release for fabrication.

Any critical dimensions are field confirmed by our drafting department utilizing different types of laser supported equipment, such as multidirectional laser or rotating lasers. This will ensure your steel project fits right the first time, cutting down on lengthy field adjustments and schedule delays.

Shops
Our fabrication facility consists of two separate workshops with a total of 12,750 square feet of fabrication area. Our four-acre lot enables us to work simultaneously on different projects.

Field
With over 40 years of welding and steel construction experience John MacPhee, a CWB certified welding supervisor, heads our field department. We currently own and operate six fully equipped welding trucks.

In addition to typical field equipment such as welders, cutting gear and grinders our crews are also trained to layout gridlines on site using our own laser equipment. This ensures the highest accuracy of steel installation.

Field crews are supervised by experienced and reliable crew leaders. METAL-FAB promotes crew leaders from within by providing training and incremental levels of responsibility. Our crew leaders have between 8 to over 30 years of experience in the steel industry. With an approximate work force of over 30 people working on our sites, we have fully trained crew members for any type of job.
